Additional Announcement regarding to Deputy Chief Adjudicators
Hello.In this e-mail today, I would like to discuss a change in the Deputy Chief Adjudicators.
Originally, Ms. Sharmlila Parmanand was called to Japan to be one of the members of the Deputy Chief Adjudicators. However, because she was unable to acquire a visa, which resulted in a few troubles, she was, unfortunately, unable to come to Japan.
With the help and the cooperation of Ms. Sharmila, the following situation has been decided.
In replacement of Ms. Sharmila, Mr. Brett Frazer and Mr. Thepparith Senamngern (TJ) have been chosen as the new members of the Deputy Chief Adjudicator. Both are very acclaimed and respected members in the debating world- Mr. Brett Frazer is to be one of the Deputy Chief Adjudicators of the 2015 World Universities Debating Championship in Malaysia. Mr. Thepparith Senamngern(TJ) previously served as the Chief Adjudicator of the United Asian Debating Championship(UADC) and also the Chief Adjudicator of Asian BP.
For all the debaters who were looking forward to meeting Ms. Sharmila and getting judged by her in a debate round, we are deeply sorry for disappointing you and having to tell you such unfortunate news.
However, we hope that with the new addition of these two very excellent and highly regarded members of the Deputy Chief Adjudicator board, we hope to maintain the high quality of the tournament and ensure that we give you the highest debating and judging service that we can.
